What is the end of support date for dask-gateway 0.9.0 version?

Hi All,
Now that we have got dask gateway new versions like 2022.4.0 etc…
Can anyone please tell what is the end of support date for dask-gateway 0.9.0 version. I mean when will it be deprecated

Also, it depends very much on what you mean by “support”! 0.9.0 does not work with relatively new versions of dask/distributed, and so requires older docker images and indeed older kubernetes (if you deploy on kubernetes). It still works though, if you are willing to live with that.

we have deployed dask gateway 0.9.0 on google cloud kubernetes engine 1.21 version…so do you think it is ok. Can you please elaborate on what you mean by older images and older kubernetes

There was a specific issue with some new version of kube (I don’t remember which) that broke gateway. Images are what you run on kube - they must have compatible versions of dask and other stuff. So if you use public images built by the dask team, current images will only work with current gateway.

ok… actually, we are already testing the dask clusters with dask gateway 0.9.0 on kubernetes engine and they are running fine… just want to know whether we can go to production too with 0.9.0

old versions are never removed. There will be no updates to the 0.9.0 line, however.
