Dear Dask-Gateway devs,
Do you have an estimated release date for the 2025.2.0 prod version of dask-gateway? We have been running Dask Gateway (a modified version of it) which integrates with HTCondor and COFFEA (A CERN/CMS analysis framework for high energy physics) which is only compatible with newer versions of Distributed. We’d also be happy to help if there’s work needed to get the release out.
Thanks!

Hi @mapsacosta,
As you are probably aware, there is a real lack of maintenance on Dask Gateway these days. So I doubt there is any estimation of some release soon. Coming from that, the current suggestion is not to rely on Dask Gateway, preferring dask-kubernetes or dask-jobqueue…
I can see that it does not cover all the cases, especially yours…
That is great, I encourage you to go on and get involved directly on Dask Gateway issue tacker, you could even ask for a release here, in order to see what work should be done.

Thank you for the ping - I’ll muster up some time to get a release out today - I recall doing most work already for a release so its the final stretch.

If you want, keep an eye on GitHub - conda-forge/dask-gateway-feedstock: A conda-smithy repository for dask-gateway.. Next known chore is to make things work with Python 3.14. I am currently working to get it to work with Python 3.13.
2025.4.0 released, see the changelog at Changelog — Dask Gateway 2025.4.0 documentation as it includes breaking changes!

Thank you!! @consideRatio we’ll give it a test run and will for sure start looking at open issues and contribute where we can. We truly appreciate your fast response to this

I still owe @consideRatio a revised helm chart for single namespace deployment, time to get back to it ..
