We are running Daskhub Gateway v2022.1.1 on GKE v1.24. Recently our cluster was updated to v1.25 which caused an issue with the current version of daskhub. We are looking to upgrade to the v2023 version of Daskhub and were wondering if updating that caused any issues with PVCs for anyone or if there was any data loss from the volumes.

Daskhub relies heavily on Jupyterhub helm chart. When looking at the Jupyterhub for kubernetes changelog for PVC, it seems there is no issue with it during upgrade since a long time. You can also check other documentation on Jupyterhub:
I see no reason there would be any data loss for the users with this upgrade.
